RIDE-ON RICE TRANSPLANTER – One of the machinery demonstrated in the field during the 39th anniversary of PhilMech is the ride-on transplanter. This is one machine that can effect fast transplanting of rice seedlings where the hills are distanced uniformly. One machine can plant in two hours what 20 manual transplanters can achieve in one day. This is very useful in places where there is shortage of farm workers who prefer to work in malls in the provinces and other establishments.
